De eerste titels die via de emulator draaien zijn al beschikbaar: bij de lancering van Star Wars: Battlefront werden namelijk drie Star Wars klassiekers uit het PS2-tijdperk gereleased voor de huidige console. Onze collega&#8217;s bij Digital Foundry hebben de PS2 emulator al <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/digitalfoundry-2015-hands-on-with-ps4-playstation2-emulation\">uitgebreid getest<\/a>, en de resultaten mogen er best zijn. Zo draaien de oude games in een sterk verhoogde resolutie en is ook de framerate sterk verbeterd.<\/p>\n<p>Een medewerker van Sony bevestigde de PS2 emulatie:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe are working on utilizing PS2 emulation technology to bring PS2 games forward to the current generation, we have nothing further to comment at this point in time.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hoe de PS2 emulatie precies in elkaar zit, wil Sony nog niet prijsgeven.
